About Us
B&L Control Service Inc. is a family-owned business located in Ballston Spa, New York. Founder Bruce Thomas started B&L in 1977 out of his garage. His first customers were drawn to Bruce's drive to ensure that every need was met. Following Bruce's passing in 2001, his son Adam has worked hard to continue his father's vision, and with the support of the entire B&L crew, continues to grow the company to meet the ever more demanding needs of our customers. Many of the products we carry are in stock for immediate delivery, installation or service.
Our Team
Adam Thomas, President & CEO
Adam has 20+ years of field and troubleshooting experience. He specializes in assisting our diverse clientele in designing water treatment solutions to fit custom specifications. Adam leads our estimating department and oversees all operations.

Kristel Thomas, Vice President & CFO
Kristel has been with B&L for over 10 years and oversees all internal office operations, including HR and health & safety procedures. As acting Chief Financial Officer, she maintains service contracts, manages accounts payable and provides certified payroll reports.

Eric Lansing, Secretary & Operations Manager
Eric is our customer service specialist! He can assist you in providing insurance certificates, manages the bid calendar, assists with quoting and is in charge of all billing. Eric can also help with providing SDS, submittals and other new construction related paperwork.

Steve Vilardo, Assistant Operations Manager
Steve manages our warehouse, making sure we're well stocked for all of our customers' needs. Along with assisting both the guys in the field and in the office, he handles purchasing and is our go-to guy for delivery orders to get them to our customers as quickly as possible.
